The City of Newport will offer a free pruning workshop on Saturday, January 26, from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm, instructed by trained, certified arborists. The event will be held at the Newport Municipal Complex Multipurpose Room at 998 Monmouth Street and is open to any Newport citizen interested in learning more about pruning. No RSVP required.

Those attending will be eligible to attend additional hands-on training. Those attending the hands-on training will be eligible to sign up to do structural pruning for Newport's street trees.
