SPEAKER: Jerome Stenger
TITLE: Unlocking the Pollinator Garden – Jerome will share a summary of concepts, techniques and plant selection to maximize your space and open your mind, allowing your gardens to thrive in simple, ecologically significant ways.
.Jerome Stenger has been a senior member of the Cincinnati Zoo and Botanical Garden's Horticultural team since 2017. He manages the Zoo’s perennial/shrub nurseries, trials, landscape designs, and Pollinator Watch program. He also purchases the plants for the Zoo’s Native Plant Program at Bowyer Farm in Mason, OH. From 2010-2017.
Jerome previously managed Painters Greenhouse, a 9-acre retail garden center and growing facility in Western North Carolina.
Jerome is a Cincinnati native with an English /Journalism degree from Ohio Wesleyan University who appreciates the resume flexibility of the horticulture industry.
