Good Morning!
I wanted to let you know that registration is now open for our 7th annual Sustainable Urban Landscapes Symposium. This one will be both excellent and topical as all but one of the talks will focus on supporting pollinators in our landscapes. And the speakers are all at the forefront. Incredible information will be shared.
Our Plant Trials Day and Native Plant Symposiums are also now open for registration. We’re doing this because we’ve already lined up our speakers, and these programs will be very popular. Plant Trials Day (August 30) will feature the top horticultural speaker in the country, Tony Avent from Plants Delight Nursery. Also speaking: Andrew Bunting formerly with Scott Arboretum and now with Chicago Botanic Garden; Greg Paige from Bartlett Research Arboretum; Bobbie Schwartz, author and designer with Bobbie’s Green Thumb; and more.
For our Native Plant Symposium (November 10), we are proud to have Dr. Stanley Hedeen, Xavier University; Jim McCormac, Ohio naturalist; designer Anna Brooks; and possibly the hottest up and coming speaker around, Kelly Norris of the Des Moines Botanical Garden.
