Speaker: Erin LeFever, “Sustainability 101 and More"

Even though “sustainability” might be viewed as abstract or daunting, living a more sustainable lifestyle isn't complicated and can have a profound impact. Join Erin LeFever, Sustainability and Ecology Education Coordinator with the Civic Garden Center, as she helps us calculate our ecological footprint and explore how to make healthier choices for the planet and its people. She'll cover food waste and water, too, including how gardening in small spaces can create a more sustainable community. Formerly, Erin was the Assistant Sustainability Coordinator at the University of Cincinnati where she also earned a master's degree in Community Planning and a bachelor's in Environmental Science. She joined the Civic Garden Center in August.
