Speaker: Larisa Sims, Assistant City Manager, City of Newport

Larisa will present highlights of Newport’s Comprehensive Plan, which serves to identify the community’s vision and long-term goals. Larisa’s presentation will focus on the value and future of parks, recreation areas, greenspace, and related topics. Currently, the City is asking its citizens to offer input on the plan, which will be the basis for land development regulations and decisions, as well as capital improvement, transportation, environmental and historic resource protection initiatives.
