Who knew that houseplants could be so trendy? In fact, the last time indoor plants were this popular was when potted philodendrons were hung from the ceiling with a macramé cord. Our expert is Barbara Hendricks, an active gardener for 30 years whose long horticulture career spanned both the floral and greenhouse industries including H.J. Benken Florist & Greenhouse. She’ll provide tips on maintenance, light requirements, pet safety, when to bring those outdoor plants inside and how to incorporate them into your décor. Now retired, Barbara is a member of the Herb Society of Greater Cincinnati and serves as first vice president of the Federated Garden Clubs of Cincinnati and Vicinity.
