Tree Revitalize Tree Planting Event! 

Teams of volunteers are going to plant 150 street trees in the East Row, the Island, Taylor's Landing, both sides of Monmouth Street, and south to the railroad tracks. 

The Day

8:30 AM Volunteers will meet at St John's UCC Church on 415 Park Avenue for registration and team assignment, hospitality time,  a demo and training session.

9:30 AM Volunteer teams go to assigned location where they will find the tree to plant in the hole prepared by Newport Public Works.

12 PM Volunteer teams return to St John UCC for lunch

1 PM Volunteer teams return to planting sites to finish planting.

Volunteers are needed for all types of roles, so don’t let any physical limitations keep you from signing up! This will be a great way to meet new people and make a difference in your neighborhood! We welcome church groups, school groups, scout troops, and kids accompanied by an adult. Organize a group of your friends and neighbors to join in the effort!
